We’ve been pretty busy over here, where do we begin?  We launched an exciting new collection of leashes called “meet matte” which we kept under wraps for months.  In preparation for the big launch, we filmed a beautiful video (thanks to the guys at Prismatik) allowing a peek into our creative process.  We then took the new collection to unveil at the Global Pet Expo, a huge pet industry show that spans 11 football fields, where we were nominated for some type of award.  We were so honored to have been nominated but when we arrived at the ceremony and saw how many people were there, we thought, “Well there’s no chance we’re gonna win this” so Mike actually left me there to watch the other winners as he returned to our booth.  Literally, right after he left (as I was probably playing a game on my phone), I heard “The winner for 2nd Place is 26 Bars & a Band for Paul Frank pet products.”  Completely unprepared.

We’ve also been busy redesigning our existing packaging which we grew so tired of.  We found a very talented packaging designer who came up with this cool concept for our Avant Garde leash.  Oh it’s so much better in every way.   Last but not least, we have some new dogs that have joined our team.  Well, their “people” have but we are always happy to have new product testers and more animal lovers around.
